How many people were shocked to see Kyle react for the Kiss cam in San Antonio? It was a surprise and a definite for the memory highlight reel.

I thought it was GREAT! Traverse seemed like he wanted in on a lil of the action just couldn't find someone to go along. My question is... I was so busy laughing at Kyle and excited that he played along than I didn't think to see who he was next to... So does anyone know?

And did you see kirby get tripped after the game when hecame out as the second star of the game? It was pretty funny... I think it was Kyle who tripped him!

It was very funny! I love it when the guys have fun with Kiss me Cam!
Kyle "kissed" Dave Bararuk. I think it was hilarious that Dave played right along too as soon as Kyle leaned over to him. Good to see them having fun!
And Kyle did trip Kirby when he came out for the star announcement. Kirby was skating out and Kyle just stuck his stick right out there and Kirby fell right over it! I couldn't believe it! I laughed so hard, but they were laughing even harder.
Glad too see them have a good decent game and have fun winning one! biggrin.gif

Oh! And THANKS to the Bulldogs for beating the Griffins tonight too!

I was hoping they'd have a little kiss. I'd heard about one before but, I thought the kiss before actually landed - vs. yesterday's air kiss.

I loved it!!!! I think it shows that they are cool guys with a good sense of humor. I was sitting behind the bench and after they did it I yelled out "kiss me Kyle". I think the Aeros fans were the only ones cheering.

The SA fans were lame. I guess if the team's already given up on the season, you can't expect much from the fans.

Did you see Jerry Meins almost got a puck in the face? Wow! that was scary. Now I can see how Kyle Kettles got hit. It happened so fast.

We had a great time. I can't wait to go to Saturday's game. We'll make sure to cheer really loud. I'll try to remember to bring pom-pom's and some kind of noise makers.

I'll be there on Saturday in San Antonio, too! I'm very excited, it's my first road trip for the Aeros. And a bunch of the other bell ringers will be there so we'll definitely be making some noise!

It will be my third road trip for the Aeros. The first was St Paul and then yesterday. Given the relatively sparse crowds I'd expect for SA, I think we'll be making alot of noise!!!

I hate cowbells and the fact they put that up on the screens... If you need them to be loud and cheer your team on, there is something wrong.

Yea, I don't really like the graphic for the cowbell or the announcers disturbing chant of "moooooore noiiiiiiiise" but I LOVED the Saturday Night Live skit. If that were only a one-time thing, that would be fine with me. And I wasn't a huge fan of the cowbells at the beginning of the season either. I learned to tune them out -- no small feat when there were at least 6 right in my ears -- but I learned to live with it and now I actually have one. I don't think it's a matter of HAVING to have them to make more noise and encourage the team but there's also nothing wrong them.

There is definitely something wrong with them, as well as the airhorns and the stupid thundersticks... keep them away from me unless you want to lose them. People are just too lazy to scream and actually work to support their team, so they shake a stupid bell. Meh... whatever!!! wacko.gif

Forecheck - If you ever heard me at a game, you would know that I can make plenty of noise on my own, as I am sure many here can attest to. I hate that stupid announcer. What a moron.

Anyway, there will be a huge group of us up in SA on Saturday for the game. The BC will be bringing a bus load and I will be with a group of about 10 or so, including RV and sis, Rented Goalie and others. My group is staying overnight to party on the Riverwalk... If anyone wants to party with us, let me know... I am soooo ready!!! tongue.gif

We'll be staying over - not sure where. However, as I'll be with both kids and hubby, I doubt I'll be allowed out to party. I'm pretty sure hubby would get his panties in a knot.

Stephanie - do you know where you're sitting? Is most of the BC sitting together? Just wondering. We'll be in section 8.

BTW, we may bring those stupid thundersticks. Sorry, we like to make noise and my voice doesn't always hold up. I can clap pretty loudly, too.

I thought the cowbell SNL skit was hilarious. Loved it. I don't mind the cow bells, as there haven't been any in close range to us. The air horns are absurd! Should be kept 1000' from any other live perons IMHO.

I heard it Sat. but, luckily, was far enough to not get the full impact.

We are in Section 8 - first row behind the Aeros bench. Not the best for viewing the game, but we like those for road games so we can cheer the guys on. I am not sure which section the BC is sitting in. I got my tickets separately for my group cause I wanted to make sure to have those seats.

I hope you are not in the row behind us at the game if you will be using those stupidsticks... tell Ryan I might have to beat him with one. tongue.gif

We are staying at the Hyatt Regency on the Riverwalk. I want to be able to party close to the hotel so I can crawl back if needed... cool.gif

Make the hubby watch the kids and come have a drink with us... you can have one, right?

It's all in good fun and to be as loud as you can! When you sit behind the glass sound doesn't travel to and from the ice as well as it does from where you sit. I think it'd be awesome if the entire Attack zone had one! It has nothing to do w/ being "too lazy to scream and actually work to support their team." You can scream your head off, but a Cowbell is still louder! biggrin.gif

I think we'll be two rows behind you Stephanie.

We were second row behind the glass in section 10 for Sunday's game. The tickets I got from JesstheAnthemSinger. They were great. Would have liked to have been a row up or two to see the game a little better but, we had 4 Aeros fans in front of us and we had a great time screaming, cheering, carrying on and such.

I think (hope) we really annoyed the SA fans. They were pretty lame. Only time they made noise was when told to. They played the "here we go (insert team)" music and we were shouting "here we go Aeros, here we go" I think we were the only ones in there saying anything. Dunno - may have been some people on the other side. We felt very superior to the SA fans, which was great fun.

And as far as noise makers, Stephanie, I can be very forgetful. Of course, we could also move around and annoy maximum number of SA fans with our rowdiness.

Wonder if Ryan will want to have the green hair again, like he did on Saturday. He would have kept it in for Sunday's game if I didn't make him wash it out. Too bad I don't have an Aeros stencil to use for spraying the hair. Would be fun.

TxHockeyMom,

Were you at the banquet and bought several items with a little boy about 7 years old? (I could be a little off on the age) Do you sit in section 125? I think I know who you are. At the banquet there was a little boy with his mom that was just precious. I kept telling the little boy he needed to kiss his momma since she had bought him so many great items.

Yeah, SA fans are pretty boring in general... There are a few loud ones, but not for the most part. Can't really blame them much this season though, although they should support their team no matter what. Oh well... we have always been louder than them in their building, even when there is only a handful of us.

I'm counting on your forgetfulness... he he .... cool.gif

Ryan looked cute with the green hair... you should let him do it again. That could be the tradeoff for NO thundersticks!!!

Ceap - I think you are correct as they were at the banquet, buying up everything as usual (I'm wondering what the jersey count is for this season alone... ha!!!)

I am really looking forward to this game... can't wait!!!

Yep, Ceap1202, that's me. We sit in 125 and I did buy my fair share of, um, Charity Items!!! Charity, remember Stephanie. BTW my hubby and daughter come back from Ireland in a few hours. Wonder how much he'll ask about the new additions. I already told him I bought some stuff and he didn't ask how much.... yet. Hee hee!

I do have a wonderfully handsome and charming 7 yr old son, if I do say so myself. He can also be a bit of a ham and rather goofy.

My daughter is 4 yrs old and has curly strawberry blonde hair.

Anyway, yep, our fans are waaaay better than SA fans. Sat. should be really fun. Don't know if we have enough of the green hair spray color left but, might do it. We'll see.

Let's hope for another nice kiss amoung the boys on Saturday. I just love their sense of humor and ability to laugh at themselves.

Just so everyone knows, my "Slip him the tongue" sign did make it on SA's Kiss Cam on Saturday night, thanks to Stephanie!

As the camera was panning the Aeros bench, she kept moving the sign with it.  Great work, Steph!

LMAO! laugh.gif

THANK YOU!

There were three people sitting in front of us that are not normally there, and they had a stupid cowbell that they kept ringing.

You can confirm this with my sister...I almost had to take that cowbell and shove it up their a$$es!

Oops!

I'm glad that we were able to enliven the game for everyone around us! laugh.gif
